The Altar Boyz (right - thanks to David
Goldman for the pic!) and company made quite a splash at Cast
Party Monday night! Their hoardes of fans really made the night
a hilarious one, what with free tickets given, CD's won and magnets
strewn. The Boyz (Andy Karl, Ryan Duncan,
Tyler Maynard, David Josefsberg and
Scott Porter) sang, "I Believe,"
the big finale from their show, with co-composer Michael Patrick
Walker at the piano. If you haven't seen the show - run and
see it. It's musically amazing and soooo funny!
Now hear this! Cast Party is taking an extremely
brief hiatus for the next two weeks. This coming Monday, I'll
be at the Lucille Lortel Theatre with Avenue
Q Swings!, the fundraiser for Greenwich House
Music School I'm producing with Bobby Lopez
and Jeff Marx. Come hear all your favorite Avenue
Q songs sung by a cast that includes Tom Wopat
(who might favor us with a trombone solo), Karen Mason,
Sally Mayes, Billy Stritch, Toxic
Audio, Stephanie d'Abruzzo, and Marc

Palm Beach Colony Hotel Royal Room. It's full-on glamour
